A Good Start Made Great!
The owners of this large family home had dreamed for years of being able to “take the next step” in advancing the several energy efficiency measures they had already made.
Solar electric was the next logical step, and by doing so they achieved a 49% reduction in their total electric spend. By applying radiant barrier atop their already max-efficiency level (R49) attic insulation and further insulating their water heater and pipes, they easily crossed the 50% threshold in energy reduction — resulting in over $1,300 of annual energy savings.
